CRDA Approves Mega Vaccine Site Development At New Jersey

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) has voted in approval of the plan of a vaccination development and production site at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The development shall commence in the next month, and soon there will be a mega vaccination site at the Center, as per the decision of the board meeting.

The Center has been recognized by Gov Phil Murphy as one of six potential mega vaccination sites of the state, and New Jersians are hopeful of combating the pandemic with this vaccine’s help next month. At the Center, the vaccine administration shall operate through June, and an extension of another month shall also be made if vaccines are not administered to every resident of the state. The CRDA has received immense support from New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and the New Jersey Department of Health. Chairman of CRDA, Robert Mulcahy, is pleased with the support and is looking forward to fighting the outbreak of COVID-19 infection with mass vaccination.

The Government of New Jersey is working on the development of vaccination sites at other centers in New Jersey as well. These centers include Meadowlands Complex in Bergen County, New Jersey Convention, and Exposition Center in Middlesex County, Rockaway Townsquare Mall in Morris County, Rowan College of South Jersey in Gloucester County, and Moorestown Mall in Burlington County.
